New Lviv stadium is constructed at the 9 hectares in the green zone of the city suburbs. It is planned that the first match that the stadium will host will be between Ukraine and Austria’s national football teams.
Lviv company participated in the project elaboration but the main designer is the Austrian drafting department which created design of the Warsaw Stadium for EURO 2012 and all stadium destined for EURO 2008 in Austria. By the way, the Lviv stadium is the modified and renovated project of the Klagenfurt arena (Austria). It has more than 30.000 seats and all of them are covered with the roof and provided with spectacular field of vision. Those who won’t work out to see the most fascinating moments could see their repeats at the big and modern monitors. There are situated above the northern and southern stands. Behind the western stand there will be the information and entertainment zone with media center and conference room, offices, clubs and restaurants.
Lviv will see only three matches of the group B during the EURO 2012.
